Your privacy matters. This policy explains what PixDazzle does, and does not do, with your information.
PixDazzle applies effects directly in your browser. The images you open or drop into the editor are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.
When you close or refresh the page, your working image is discarded unless you download it. While the tab stays open, PixDazzle keeps your photo in memory so you can try another effect without uploading it again.
If you use Share or Copy image after a download, the file goes from your device to the app or clipboard you choose. It does not pass through our servers.
We do not require an account to use PixDazzle. We use Seline, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand how the site is used. It records page views, the referring site, browser and device type, and approximate region.
We also record a small set of product events, such as which effect or tool was opened, that an image was loaded or downloaded, which control or preset was used, the output format, and coarse buckets for image size (for example "4-12 megapixels") and processing time. We record broad error categories, such as a failed export, to fix bugs.
These events never include your image, its pixels, its filename, or the text you type into search. They are not used to identify you personally.
PixDazzle itself does not need cookies to work. Our analytics provider may use limited browser storage to count visits. You can clear or block this in your browser settings, and the site will continue to work.
If you save an effect as a favorite or use one, we keep its name in your browser's local storage so we can show it on your next visit. This list stays on your device, holds no images, and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.
We use third-party providers for hosting and analytics. They may process technical data such as IP address and request logs as needed to deliver and secure the service. We do not sell your personal information.
We do not show ads today. If we add them, we will update this policy first. Ad providers commonly use cookies and identifiers, and we will describe what they collect and how to opt out.
PixDazzle is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the date above will be updated.
